Hi,

XML ( Extensible Marked-up Language ) is used to structure, store and transport DATA. Simply means holding pure information wrapped in tags. An XML file can be shared across several software which supports it. As such, XML files are also known as an Open Document.

Some software which support XML files are AMS, Open Office,  Lotus Symphony, Google Docs, Corel, Star Office and most Web-based applications. No file format conversions needed.

In this example, we will see how to load Combo Box items from an XML file. The XML file has a very simple structure holding info about a list of friends.
